Westerly Library is now available by appointment only. Some sections of the first floor will be available for browsing material and to utilize the public computer lab, by reservation only. During this initial reopening phase we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. To make a reservation please call 401.596.2877 ext 930 for Circulation and ext 311 for the computer lab. Please check back for updates! Library Takeout Service is still available via the Books & Materials tab for contact-free pickup and the book drop is now open for material returns.

Book Club Pick

Hey Teens and Happy Friday! Our book club just finished reading "I Am Malala" by Malala Yousafzai and Christina Lamb. It was a wondeful and inspiring story I highly recommend. Check out the Young Readers Edition digital copy here. The next pick is "Children of Blood and Bone" by Tomi Adeyemi. We always welcome new members to read and chat with us! We'll be reading about half the book and meeting on Zoom Thursday 8/20 @ 3:30pm. Have a great weekend!

So it looks like the poor peppers aren't going to make it! The plants are all still very small and I have my doubts that they'll ever produce any peppers. Peppers seem relatively easy to grow, but they do risk getting burnt by the sun if their leaves aren't protecting them. Learn about some of the most common, but hardest to grow, veggies here.
