We're launching a community art project that will be displayed in the library beginning April 4th, as part of our National Library Week (April 4th-10th) celebration. As this is a COMMUNITY art project, we need help from YOU!
If you’ve always wanted to compost, and compost right, this presentation is for you!
In this virtual presentation, Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (RIRRC) will give you all the information you need to start composting in your backyard.

Join us in this informative session led by Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate McKenna Parnes. The program will offer resources and language around how to discuss diversity with children and will emphasize the celebration of differences within the community. McKenna Parnes is currently a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Suffolk University. She received her MSEd in Counseling and Mental Health from the University of Pennsylvania. Her work is focused on supporting positive development for youth who are impacted by social and structural inequities.
The exhibit will be up in the Hoxie Gallery and available for viewing from Wednesday, January 6th-Friday, February 26th.
