Parent Support Network’s Hope Recovery C.O.R.E. (Community Outreach Response Efforts) Team is a mobile outreach program that operates statewide throughout Rhode Island, meeting individuals “where they are at” both physically and fundamentally.
Want a chance to hone your skills against a variety of players, including two state champions? Stop by the Westerly Library and Wilcox Park on Thursdays, between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm for our weekly community Chess Club. Meets are held in the library's Old Main Reading room and players of any skill level are welcome, with free lessons available from club members upon request.
The Westerly Writers Group will meet the second Saturday of each month. Share work, discuss readings, and write in response to prompts in this group-led writing workshop. All experience levels and genre interests welcome.
Members of organization Project Outreach of Westerly will have a table set up outside the library's Old Main Reading Room the second Friday of every month from 10-11 am. They will be there to aid veterans in navigating available benefits and other services.
