Have you ever dreamed about writing a novel? Why wait?! November is National Novel Writing Month, and NaNoWriMo challenges you to write 50,000 words of a novel during the month of November. Westerly Library & Wilcox Park is here to support you in this task; every Saturday in November we will have reserved tables in the Reference Department (check out our new Writer's Corner!) for those working on their novel. Writers are also welcome to use our space at any time during library hours -- work on our public computers, connect to our WiFi, reserve a quiet study room, plug into our electrical outlets, and purchase hot beverages and snacks from our cafe...we've got you covered!
NaNoWriMo began with a small group in 1999, and has grown to almost half a million participants each year! The 501(c)(3) nonprofit encourages creativity, community, and education, and supports participants in their writing goals through their online community.
