Stage Door Theater Company announces its fall production of Edward Albee's "THE AMERICAN DREAM" to be performed as a Live Stage Reading in Wilcox Park on September 20th at 2pm. The play is a "one-act absurdist comedy that turns a jaundiced eye on American values." The play has been referred to as unique, brilliant, a comic nightmare and a fantasy of the highest order. Straightforward, American Dream is about one of America's most dysfunctional families.
The play features the talents of: Ellen Atwood, Nancy Young, Ana Alosco and Lou Alosco. The role of the Young Man has yet to be announced. Admission is free, with donations welcome. For more information please call Eugene J. Celico at 860-514-5821. The rain date for the Play is September 27.
Bring a friend, food and be ready to be inspired. This play will remain with you for a very long time. Theater's primary function is to help us understand what it is like to be human. This play does just that. The COVID GUY must not stand in the way of us, the Creative People who collectively Provoke, Inspire and hopefully make a difference. See you in the park!
