It’s time, not just for April showers, but also National Poetry Month! Over the years, poetry has gotten a bad rep (that’s reputation – not repetition, which is a poetic device). It brings up painful images of sitting in rows of classroom desks, counting syllables, and failing to remember the difference between iambs and trochees. It's that time of year again! Summer reading will be in full swing by the end of June. How does the program work for teens?  For every book, magazine, manga, graphic novel, etcc. you read, you fill out one card (available in the Teen Space). Every card you fill out automatically earns you a free small prize.  Enter your card into the drawing for one of our five fabulous prize packs! We wrapped up summer reading yesterday.
