Wilcox Park is home to several dedications including flowering shrubs, trees, benches and monuments. We have three Dedication programs that are available to the general public. A tree, for example, can be dedicated to a loved one either as a Memorial or as an Honorary dedication. Please refer to this link for the specifics of these programs: Wilcox Park Dedication Policy.
The library building itself is the oldest and largest memorial on the grounds of Wilcox Park.
It opened its doors in 1894 and is a memorial to the Civil War soldiers.
