Why buy when you can borrow?
Our Library of Things (LOT) is an ever expanding collection of non-traditional items available for loan with your library card! The LoT items are located on our main floor near the Circulation desk. From gadgets and tools, to bird hunting kits and lawn games, we have something for everyone! We now have Kids Library of Things items to borrow too, located in the Kids Room.
Each item contained in the collection circulate for a maximum time of one week, with the exception of the radon detector which circulates for up to 3 weeks. Patrons will be required to sign a Non-Traditional Materials Borrowing Policy upon borrowing.
Air Quality Meter:
This indoor air quality monitor assesses temperature in Celsius, humidity level, and multiple measures of air quality including concentrations of formaldehyde, total natural & synthetic volatile organic compounds causing most odors (TVOC), and fine particulate dust matter. 2 available.
Birdwatching Kit:
