Do you want to better understand your feline companion? Join us through Zoom as Stephen Quandt explains the Cycle of Predation and the Confidence Scale, which can lead to "drive-by" ankle biting, play aggression, early morning wake up, and food aggression, fearful cats, victimized cats (cat on cat aggression), fear aggression, and redirected aggression as examples. He will also explain the Mother/Kitten Relationship, that connects them to us through food needs, attention seeking, and their status with their most favored/ least favored people. And finally the relationship between hunger, appetite, metabolism, and exercise to all the above! A Q&A will follow the presentation.

Stephen is a professional cat behaviorist with more than 20 years of experience working with cats and their humans in private consultations, shelters and in the field. He is a Feline Training and Behavior Specialist certified through the Animal Behavior Institute (ABI). A background of nationwide rescue work with the ASPCA greatly enriched his empathy with communities of cat lovers in need of help. His current work with the Animal Care Centers of NYC advances that compassionate connection.

Pre-registration is required for this event, and registrees will receive an email with Zoom link on the morning of the presentation.
