Please join our current Artist-in-Residence, Broadway Associate Director, Writer and Educator Dave Solomon for a Musical Theatre Audition Workshop!
With twenty years of Broadway experience, director Dave Solomon will lead an Audition Workshop where participants will get one-on-one time and training working on a musical theatre song of their choosing. You can come to one or both sessions, and bring a song you love and want to work on. You will first audition your piece, then get direction and audition advice that you can continue to develop and work on. Participants should expect a supportive, fun and character-based approach to auditioning; with skills and advice that can also be used for theatre and film performance. The two sessions will take place in the library's Auditorium Thursdays, 02/20 & 02/27. Attendees are asked to bring their own sheet music piece or an instrumental track to sing along with.
