Join us for a very special storytime guest Miss United States winner Lily K. Donaldson. Lily K. Donaldson is a STEM and Arts Education advocate from Memphis, Tennessee. She is the current reigning Miss United States. A first-generation college student, Lily holds a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.S. in Lighting, and is currently a Ph.D. student studying Architectural Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Previously, she worked as a software developer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the NASA DC Space Grant Consortium. She will spend her year as Miss United States traveling the country to promote arts and science education, especially for rural and economically disadvantaged youth. She will visit all 50 U.S. states during her reign!
