Come join URI Master Gardeners for a walking tour of specimen trees at beautiful Wilcox Park. The tours are from 10:00-11:30 AM. URI Master Gardeners will lead you around one loop of the Park. The tour will begin and end on the park Esplanade at the side entrance of the library.

Wilcox Park is a world class arboretum and holds over 150 different tree species. This tour showcases some of the Master Gardeners' favorite trees in the Park. The Master Gardeners will also tell you a bit about trees: how they grow and reproduce and, how to identify some trees.

Tours occur on the 4th Saturday of the month, June through October:

May 18, June 22, July 27, August 24, Sept 28, Oct 26

Please note, in May they will be touring on the 3rd Saturday, 5/18.
