For the month of October, the Hoxie Gallery will display an educational exhibit to explore Banned Books and the Freedom to Read. The exhibit has been created by library staff, and explores the history of book challenges in the United States, modern book banning, and what it means for you to have the Freedom to Read. Visitors will have the opportunity to flip through this year's most challenged titles in an interactive display, and learn about why libraries fight against censorship. After navigating through the display, we invite all patrons to leave comments and questions they may have about censorship.

If you would like to contribute to an interactive portion of this exhibit, please fill out this two-question survey by clicking here. All responses will be anonymous.
