Summer in Wilcox Park

From exploring the eco system, tending to the youth garden, and walking tours, to theatre, bubbles and yoga, there is something for everyone this summer in Wilcox Park!
For Kids and Tweens, Eco Explorers finds you in weekly adventures to explore our local environment and learn about our surrounding habitats. Find family fun with games in our Family Olympics, or enjoy the sun with Chalk and Bubbles in the Park. For our younger friends, enjoy Baby Playtime or yoga and mindfulness with Children's Yoga with Lianne. Tweens and teens are welcome to join our weekly Youth Garden Club to weed, harvest and learn all things gardening!
Get moving to music monthly with Zumba, or strengthen and stretch weekly with Essentrics Stretch. Tour through the park with URI Master Gardeners to learn of Native Flowers and Trees or Specimen Trees, and get your soil tested.
For Alfred Hitchcock fans, join Colonial Theatre for their production of The 39 Steps. Shows run from July 20-August 10 beginning at 8 pm, with Sunday shows starting at 6 pm.
