Spring will be here before you know it, and it's the perfect time to begin thinking about your gardens! Westerly Library and Wilcox Park is here to help you every step of the way, with books, resources, and - yes - even seeds!
Stop by the 2nd floor Reference area beginning March 1st, and pick up your own seed starting kit. We'll provide seed starting trays and potting mix, and you can take seeds from our newly stocked Seed Library. We'll also have a great selection of books about gardening, printouts of the Rhode Island Planting Calendar, and other great resources to guide you on your gardening journey.
Please note: Seed starting kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we expect them to go quickly. They are limited to 1 per person. Seeds, however, are available year-round in the Seed Library! Contact reference@westerlylibrary.org or call (401) 596-2877 x306 with any questions.
