About the musicians:

Sara Boyd received her Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ in 2015. In addition she holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Piano from the University of California at Irvine. Throughout her degree she received merit based funding and monthly stipends to teach group piano and accompany undergraduate recitals at the University. Sara lives in Westerly where she teaches piano and collaborates with local musicians.

John Curran performed with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra from 1965-2004 and from 1970-1980 he was Principal Flutist with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra. Presently, he is Principal Flutist with the Narragansett Bay Symphony and the Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra. He received his BA in Chemistry degree from the University of Rhode Island with minors in Mathematics, Physics and Music. His flute studies were with James Pappoutsakis at New England Conservatory followed by advanced studies with Julius Baker and Robert Stallman.

John Graham, a Westerly native, graduated from WHS in 1966. He furthered his musical education at URI receiving a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 1970. He taught music in the West Warwick Public Schools from 1970-2000. From 2000-2010 he taught 4th grade at St. Thomas School in Providence. John has performed with the RI Philharmonic, The Eastern Connecticut Symphony, the American Band and the Pipe Dream Flute Choir. His hobbies include attending WHS sporting events and cuddling with his Yorkie-poo, Sidney.
