The Next Up Festival is Westerly, RI's flagship music festival for rising talent in the Ocean Community! It is a family friendly music festival centered on the historic bandstand in Wilcox Park. Bring a picnic as well as a lawn chair and blanket and be prepared to be blown away!

The festival's 2nd year features newcomers Coyote Brass from the RI National Guard and RI Philharmonic Music School at the United student band Element 88. Other first time solo artists are Kyle Rathbun and Casey Flax. Folk Duo Undercover Cameo also makes their Festival debut. Returning acts are Big Lux, Tyler Seton and Olivia Mortrude of Undercover Cameo. The festival encourages networking among musicians and will include an "Artists in the Round" segment where festival musicians will interact with each other and take turns playing original music.
